International Yoga Day 2024

The International Day of Yoga was celebrated with grandeur at Sri Prakash Synergy School in Peddapuram Ramarao Peta, organized by the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and Isha Foundation.

The program commenced with a ceremonial inauguration by paying homage to Bharat Mata and the founder of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, K.B. Hedgewar. This solemn occasion included garlanding the portraits of incumbent president Mohan Bhagwat and hoisting the RSS flag.

Addressing the program, Professor Santhanam Garu emphasized that 'Yoga' encompasses both physical exercises and spiritual practices. He highlighted its deep-rooted presence in ancient Indian scriptures such as the Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Bhagavata, Bharata, and Bhagavad Gita. He also noted that Maharshi Patanjali compiled these teachings into the Yoga Sutras, codifying the spiritual essence of yoga.

Mr. Ch. Vijay Prakash, Director of Sri Prakash Synergy School and District President of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, while speaking, said, "No matter which religion we belong to, we all owe allegiance to Bharat Mata. The essence of yoga, with all its transformations, lies in the Yoga Sutras compiled by Maharshi Patanjali, achieving fame as the 'Sadguru'. Jaggi Vasudev, also known as 'Sadhguru', has popularized yoga postures through the Isha Foundation, inspiring many to aim for perfection in English."

In this program, volunteers from the Isha Foundation, hailing from Kakinada, informed the students of Sri Prakash Synergy School about various yoga postures. Similarly, representatives from the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, including the State President Shri K. Suryanarayana Murthy, demonstrated Surya Namaskar to the students after enlightening them about its significance. Those who performed Surya Namaskar well were awarded certificates of eligibility.

Prominent Advocate P.S.M, Murti (Chinni), Present City President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, RSS representatives, Isha Foundation volunteers, School Academic Coordinators, Professors, and students were also present at the event.

Pioneering New Standards in Table Tennis on 07th June 2024

At Sri Prakash Synergy School in Peddapuram Ramaraopeta, the Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association organized an “Umpires Clinic” training program for table tennis umpires as part of the Table Tennis Ranking Tournament-2024 held at Sri Prakash School.

Sri Vijay Prakash, Director of Sri Prakash Synergy Table Tennis Academy, Vice President of the Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association, and Chairman of the Development Committee, inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted that this “Umpires Training Program” is being launched for the first time in Andhra Pradesh and assured that more such initiatives would follow.

The training program was conducted by esteemed umpire trainers Mr. DSR Kumar, Mr. DVSY Sharma, and Mr. AVS Singaraju. The event was graced by Mr. P. Venugopal, Joint Secretary of APTTA, who delivered a vote of thanks.

The training program saw participation from 25 umpires hailing from various districts of Andhra Pradesh. Following the completion of the training sessions, an examination on rules and regulations was conducted for the umpires. Certificates were awarded to those who successfully passed the examination.

The culmination of 14 days fun filled endeavour of summer campers ended with a grand finale event successfully at Sri Prakash Synergy School at Peddapuram. 

They had a great time learning various performing arts. The summer camp energised the students further for the coming vacation. The joy of the camp was doubled on the concluding day. 

Sri Rajesh Kamireddy an entrepreneur graced the occassion as the Chief Guest and appreciated the students for their joyful learning.  
Students meticulously showcased their talents. 

The school received an encouraging response and appreciation from all parents who were excited and amused to witness the children brimming with talents and enthusiasm.

Grand inaugural of HARIVILLU – Festivals Galore

Amidst striking festoons, vibrant colors, multi-hued flowers, resplendent décor and ethnic vibes, festive spirit pervaded through the corridors of Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram as the grand inaugural of their two-day annual Art Expo HARIVILLU – festivals galore was held at 11: 30 a.m. on Saturday, 06 April 2024, in the august presence of distinguished guests. Shedding light on various genres of the two prominent areas of Art & Crafts and Music, the cultural carnival literally rolled out the red carpet for the guests, visitors, students, parents, and even general public to have a captivating experience of the aesthetics associated with the lavish theme of the event “National and International Festivals of Repute”. 

Around 20 exciting regional-specific festive themes were on spectacular display that ranged from Ganesh puja (Mumbai) to Onam (Kerala) to Bathukamma (Telangana), nationally, and from Abu Simbel (Egypt) to Rose Festival (Bulgaria) to Lantern Festival (Taiwan), internationally. A whopping 1200 Art & Craft aspirants animated the festive spirit in thousands of monumental art works whose unique origins, history, visual, and literary connotations, inter alia, evoked artistic emotions among the audience. On the other hand, the 90-minute Music Fest with around 200 music-savvy students harmonizing beautiful melodies across 12 captivating songs held the audience spellbound. Resembling a grand symphony orchestra, students lent glamour to their melodious voices. What marked as added features were the Viewer’s Quiz and the Treasure Hunt that ignited the imaginations of the guests and the general public alike. 

Smt Surabhi Vani Devi, MLC (Telangana State), founder of Sri Venkateswara Group of Institutions, and the proud daughter of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Sri P. V. Narasimha Rao graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. D. Ramaganesh, Consultant Pediatrician, Visakhapatnam, added great warmth to the expo as a Guest of Honor. Another Guest of Honor whose distinct presence added festive vibes was Smt Dhaassyam Geetha Bhascker, CEO, INDFAME, Trainer, Actress and the humble mother of famous film director Sri Tarun Bhascker. The Chief Guest, expressing her deep pleasure at the mammoth art expo, said that art is like a portrait which can express multiple emotions, and which doesn’t need the support any language to describe its essence. Complimenting the height of inventiveness that was abundantly exposed to the sublimity and grandeur of art & craft, she exhorted the students to sustain the creative-edge nurtured so that they could scale great heights in their lives and careers. Dr. D. Ramaganesh said he was bowled over by the impressive majesty of the art expo and further added that the Art Exhibition would undoubtedly add to the holistic development of students. Similarly, Smt Dhaassyam Geetha Bhascker lauded the school management for encouraging and inculcating such artistic values in the minds of students. She added that the contagiousness of creativity in unearthing artistry needed to be encouraged consistently. 

In his inaugural address, the school director Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash clarified that they have made Harivillu programme purely a theme-based one in order to represent the diverse features of Indian/international culture(s) – folk traditions, festivals, music, dance, paintings, ethos, ethics, etc. The director further added the credit for the grand success of the art expo was wholly due to the art & craft aspirants as they endeavored to accord perfect shape and structure to all the innovations.  The stirring display of art & craft has been thrown open to the general public as well on both 6 and 7 April 2024 with a view to facilitating them to witness the scale of imaginativeness and inventiveness exhibited by the students. Grand inaugural of HARIVILLU – Festivals Galore

“Vasant Panchami celebrated with great reverence to Goddess Saraswati”

Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram celebrated the pan-Indian festival ‘Vasanti Panchami’ reverently worshipping Goddess Saraswati on 15 February 2024. On the auspicious day, the students, donning traditional clothes, ceremonially offered prayers and puja invoking the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati. This festival which marks the onset of the transition period from winter to spring is celebrated with great zeal, devotion and reverence. Vasant Panchami assumes added importance for students as it is a day that celebrates knowledge assumedly derived from the Vedas, Upanishads, and other scriptures composed and compiled on the banks of the Saraswati River.  

Exquisitely sculpted idol of Goddess Saraswati, presided under the flower-bedecked canopy, elegantly draped in red and gold bordered cream-colored saree and embellished with flowery garlands, was indeed the centre of attraction as the students, seated in several columns across the lobby arena, began to offer Kumkum pooja to the small photo of the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, placed on a platter. Smt Ch. Sameera, wife of hon’ble director Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and participated in the traditional rituals associated with the day. She recalled the popular legend associated with Vasant Panchami and exhorted the students that righteousness in the areas: discipline in behavior, decorum in lifestyle, and dedication to education themselves endear them to the Goddess Saraswati. In a separate communique, director Sri Ch Vijay Prakash conveyed festive greetings to the students and added that the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom should bestow Her benign blessings on students for their healthy growth and academic excellence. 

Sri D. Lovaraju, principal, together with his spouse and children formally offered the traditional pooja to the idol leading all the students from the front. Teachers, parents, well-wishers, academic and cultural coordinators, non-teaching staff, all took active part in the pre-dusk celebrations. Towards the end, students and all other participants were distributed prasadam with the holy chanting in praise of the Goddess reverberating through the corridors of the school.

75th REPUBLIC DAY MARKED BY PATRIOTIC FERVOR

The 75th Republic Day celebrations, ceremonially held on 26 January 2024, witnessed a unique voice as the students, staff, and management of Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram got the spirit of solidarity and the flavor of cherished values on board. Spreading the nationalist spirit and vision being represented through the tricolored Indian National flag, students donned the roles of nationalist leaders and iconic freedom fighters. Inspiring monologues in Hindi, Telugu and English representing Rash Behari Bose – an Indian revolutionary leader, Tanguturi Prakasam – one of the stalwarts of India’s socio-cultural firmament, and Bala Gangadhar Tilak – one of the most prominent Indian freedom fighters respectively were elegantly presented by Synergites. The celebrations, filled with an aura of patriotism, paid rich homage to the great brains behind the adoption of the Constitution of India in 1950, in its pristine form.  
A couple of songs and dance programmes presented by students, fully governed by the ethos of patriotism, vividly effected nostalgic feelings about Indian freedom struggle and subsequent triumph. In a communique, Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, Director, Sri Prakash Synergy School, stated that India as a strong and vibrant nation should take the baton of solidarity ahead with added conviction and commitment. He also paid rich tributes to the heroes and unsung heroes of the Indian freedom struggle. Professor S. R. Santhanam, Mathematician par excellence, addressing the gathering said that the unparalleled and emulative sacrifices made by many a nationalist hero should always be held in high regard, and further added the spirit of patriotism should never be compromised with at any cost. 
As is the tradition of the school, the support staff, literally the backbone of this abode of learning, were presented with gifts as a token of recognition for their seamless service. The celebrations in the presence of the Academic and Cultural Coordinators, Teachers, Non-teaching staff, parents, and well-wishers concluded on a happy note. 

75th REPUBLIC DAY MARKED BY PATRIOTIC FERVOR

DISHA – 2023, A COMMERCE AND MANAGEMENT EVENT, IN ALL GRANDEUR

Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram held the seventh edition of DISHA – 2023, a Commence and Management event, exclusively designed, developed, and deployed by the students of Commerce stream of Grades: XI & XII. In what believed to be a unique display of entrepreneurial skills, the event was up for grabs in a range of competitions: Panel discussion, Quizzard, Illumages, Vignettes, and Rule the Roost. Commerce students from as many as twenty schools across Andhra Pradesh actively participated in the competitions. With the entry fee being fixed at Rs. 400, this much-awaited event listed exciting cash prize for overall champion while individual prizes were announced for each competition. The one-day event was indeed witness to brimming confidence and bustling competence on the part of student participants.

9th International Yoga Day collaborating with Patanjali Yoga Samiti

The District Superintendent of police Smt.Latha Kumari has arrived as the Chief Guest of the day and she said “Only yoga can turn this globe into a universal harmonious family which can strengthen the humanity to cope up with the stress in the hustle bustle journey of today’s world”
She was also elated and honoured to represent the community of police department to be a part of this great event.
Another Guest of Honour our Municipal Chairman Smt.Boddu Lakshmi Mangatayaru garu quoted that “One should dedicate everyday 30 minutes consistently to yoga to achieve a healthy life style”.

SPSS HOSTS SCHOOLYPICS -2022 IN ALL GRANDEUR

Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram organized one of its flagship annual events Schoolympics-2022 on 8 November 2022. The grand inaugural event was witness to an array of competitions encompassing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that ranged from cricket to clay modelling to quiz. Lt. Col. Sri Varun Bhartiya garu, Commanding Officer, 18 (A) Battalion NCC, Kakinada graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. 

The high-spirited inaugural session, the first day of the five-day schedule of the Schoolympics, ceremonially commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the Schoolympics flag by the Chief Guest Lt. Col. Sri Varun Bhartiya and the Director of the school Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash respectively. The four houses of the school – Chola, Mourya, Maratha, and Kakatiya – presented the Guard of Honor to the Chief Guest.  The inaugural ceremony was rather studded with a couple of unique features. One of them was the five students who had been selected as Student-Teachers were the Guests of Honor on this occasion and, most interestingly, the five students actively participated in a thought-stirring panel discussion on the topic: “Does Homework Improve Learning or Impede Learning?” moderated by the Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Master Karthik of SPSS becomes the Cynosure of All Eyes!

Master Nandyala Bhavesh Karthik of Class: 9 from Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram represented East Godavari under Sub-juniors’ category and emerged triumphant with the first position in the state level basketball tournament held at Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh on 30.10.2022. 

This victory propelled his chances of playing at the National Level.  The director of the school Sri Ch Vijay Prakash congratulated the student and wished him to be a front runner at the national level. The Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy, Professor S. R. Santhanam, Academic and Cultural Coordinators, Teachers complimented the student for the enviable success wished him all the best.

TEACHERS' DAY - 2022 CELEBRATED IN ALL MAJESTY (05.09.2022)

Commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Sri Prakash Synergy Schools, Peddapuram and Kakinada, and Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Rajahmundry together celebrated Teachers’ Day-2022 at their Peddapuram campus on 5 September 2022. 

The cultural extravaganza had a medley of competitions including well-calibrated group songs, aesthetically choreographed group dances, and soul-stirring & evocative skits. With patriotism forming the backdrop, the teacher-participants from all the three branches vied with one another in sustaining enthusiasm and excitement all through the competitions. The group songs’ themes paid rich tributes to great teachers while the dance competition threw light on the creative-edge of the themes like Malhaar song based fusion dance, and An Ode to Mother India. The panel discussion on the trending topic “Is Pen and Paper Test the Best practical way of assessment?” witnessed critical analyses and logical interpretations from the panelists. 

ECO-FRIENDLY CLAY-MOULD GANESH IDOLS DISTRIBUTED.

Ganesha Chavithi at Sri Prakash Synergy School is the time to build group cohesiveness as everyone gets involved in the making of Ganesha idols, also spreading a crucial message of environmental conservation. As a mark of reverence, Synergites have successfully completed the mission of making and distributing thousands of Eco friendly Ganeshas. This is symbolic of the popular belief that Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, has bestowed His presence by reaching the stakeholders. It is nothing short of a mission accomplished after more than a decade, at Sri Prakash Synergy School. No wonder that our darling God Vinayaka epitomizes the God who removes obstacles. Ganapathi Bappa Moriya!!

5K RUN BY SYNERGITES MARKS THE NATIONAL SPORTS DAY (29 .08.2022)

Commemorating the birth anniversary of Indian hockey sporting legend Dhyan Chand, Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram celebrated National Sports Day, also known as Rashtriya Khel Divas – 2022 on 29 August 2022. The first honor came in the form of a 5K Run by the Synergites as Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, Secretary, Sri Prakash Educational Institutions flagged it off in the presence of different sports’ coaches of the institution.  

After garlanding the bust of Dhyan Chand on the school premises, Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash exhorted the students to become sports-savvy by associating themselves with any sport of their interest and to excel in the same. He also made it clear that academics alone wouldn’t show them a lucrative path and added that the combination of academic proficiency and sporting excellence take them a long way in their lives and careers.
