A woman of great conviction armed with unswerving dedication and unwavering confidence who stands a catalyst for scores of Civil Service aspirants is Mrs Bala Latha Mallavarapu. Her inspirational words ‘If I could achieve…everybody can’ as far as her triumphant journey is concerned instill boosting morale in the young brains.    

Undeterred by her physically challenged nature Mrs Bala Latha worked wonders at UPSC in 2009 by having secured 399th rank and joined the Indian Defense Services (IDS). Reaffirming her razor-sharp competence, she scripted another tryst with success at UPSC in 2016 (167th rank) only to be a fount of inspiration. Then started her journey of life; a persuasive journey to breathe in a breadth of  confidence and conviction in the young Civil Service aspirants with a view to taking their efforts an inch closer to make their dreams realized.

Synergites are truly privileged to have the gorgeous presence of Mrs Bala Latha on the campus as a celebrated guest. Her vast experience and expertise is sure to help inspire Synergites to take up bold initiatives about their career.    

Synonymous with Table Tennis Sport, Sri Mukherjee is better known for his meticulous planning and rewarding execution. Having successfully scripted many gold medal – winning performances by paddlers like the Commonwealth Games [2004] at Kavla Lumpur, the World Cadet Championship [2007] in South Africa and the Commonwealth Youth Games [2008] at Pune, this Table Tennis bigwig has shot to enviable fame.

Backed by more than three decades of rich experience as a National Coach for Table Tennis, Sri Mukherjee admirably led the Indian Table Tennis contingent at the Rio-2016 Olympics. Soft spoken and affable, this sexagenarian from Chandigarh was the recipient of the Prestigious Dronacharya Award [2017] for life time achievement in Table Tennis Sport.

With many a stimulating success to his credit, Sri Mukhejee earlier helmed the National Institute of Sports [NIS], Patiala as the Chief Coach for Table Tennis and is presently part of International Table Tennis Federation [ITTF]

Synergy prides itself to announce that the august presence Sri Bhavani Mukherjee as a  distinguished ‘Adhiti’ will further strengthen the sporting vigour in the minds of Synergites towards Table Tennis.

Come Uttarayana, melodious renditions of ‘Haridasu’ and majestically decorated ‘Gangireddu’ swaying to the folk tunes mark the onset of the harvest season, which is traditionally celebrated as Sankranthi. It has been a richly established practice in Synergy School to celebrate Sankranthi with pomp and gaiety. Synergites, lavishly clad in distinctive ethnic attire symbolizing the true character of this mid-winter festival, had a grand gala time in the school precincts on 9 January 2018.

Characterizing the revelries that unmistakably take place in the countryside in the backdrop of colorfully decked bullock carts, multihued rangoli designs, vibrant festoons, heaps of rice grains, stalks of sugarcane, and sparkling bonfire, the school serenely turned a picturesque village. 

A magnificent range of competitions was held to score the creative acumen and aesthetic sense of both students and their parents. Many archetypal games, which have almost slid into oblivion, like vaikuntapali, puli-meka, thokkudu billa, asta chemma , vamana gunta, chintapikkalu, gavvalu, 7 penkulu and  chakali banda, played enthusiastically, stirred a fresh awakening about the rustic charms in the minds of students. 

One ceremonial attraction of the festivities was pouring bhogipallu over the heads of tiny-tots seeking divine grace and blessings. On the other hand, mothers endowed with rich culinary skills competed with one another in preparing lip-smacking signature dishes that included classic sweets like sakinalu and ariselu. Other competitions that the elders tried their hands at were garland making, rangoli designs, mehendi and kite flying. Yet another neo-classical competition that jeweled the crowing festivities was the ramp show for the parent couples in traditional attire to represent the rich and resplendent style of pastoral dressing. 

Timeless flavors and fragrances with unique combinations offered a great opportunity for the students and their parents to usher in the festive spirit.

Enlivening the spirit of Christmas not only as a rejoicing season but as a period of reflection, Synergites unfurled the Christmas celebrations on 22 December 2017 spreading the aura of peace, love and goodwill. Heart to heart and hand in hand, the magic of Christmas engaged the students to be wrapped up in various exciting cultural programmes. Children in their finest costumes befitting the special occasion made a grand and lavish spectacle. 

Part of the cultural activities, a skit depicting the celestial birth of Jesus Christ virtually left the gathering spellbound with a transcendental experience.

The visual splendor out of the Christmas themed dances staged by the Primary kids had a captivating appeal as the Tiny Tots in the garb of Santa Claus drew the attention of everyone distributing gifts and goodies. 

The towering attraction of the celebrations was the 25 foot high Christmas tree decorated with bright and colorful festoons that became the centerpiece of the school. The Christmas tree was designed and developed by the Synergites based on the ideal ‘Best of the Waste’ material. The Christmas celebrations indeed highlighted Synergites’ true reflections – creative bent of mind and eco-consciousness.

The fascination of Rifle Shooting as an important Olympic Sport calls for resolute determination and surgical precision. Touted to be one of the super-premium sports, Rifle Shooting entails perfect figure of mind and frame of infrastructure.

It is indeed a creditable achievement and glorious testimony in the annals of Sri Prakash Synergy School to have successfully hosted two major sporting events – Rope Skipping and Table-Tennis Clusters, in two consecutive years(2015-16 & 2016-17) that commanded heaps of encomiums leaving behind a rich legacy of warmth and respect. Now the autumn season gained added significance with the school hosting yet another monumental sporting event ‘South Zone CBSE schools Rifle Shooting’(2017-18), the third epic event in a straight row, that showcased an impressive display of heightened talent and competitive spirit.

The autumn month of October 2017 opened new doors to the gripping sport of ‘South Zone CBSE schools Rifle Shooting’ as 300 student-participants from as many as 75 CBSE affiliated schools, across all the Southern States including Maharashtra, Goa and The Andaman and Nicobar islands were hyped up at the thought of proving their excellence at the trigger. 

The participants brimming with competence and confidence seemed to have taken inspiration from world-renowned Indian shooters Abhinav Bindra, Gagan Narang, Apurvi Chandala and their ilk. The Deputy Chief Minister Sri Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa kicked off the three-day sporting splendor on 2nd October 2017 to a colorful start. The galaxy of guests who graced the inaugural ceremony included Sri Thota Narasimham , MP, Kakinada, Sri Raja Suribabu Raju, Municipal Chairman, Peddapuram, Sri Batchu Koteswara Rao, Founder, Batchu Foundation, and Sri Ch.Padma Raju, President, District Rifle Shooting Association. 

The Rifle Shooting Competitions witnessed formidable participation of students in two categories: Air Pistol and Air Rifle. Sri Vijay Rokade, CBSE Moderator, Sri Shiva Kumar, Technical Chief, Satphal Singh Rathode and Ramachandran, Technical Officials oversaw the most engrossing sporting event. The sporting grandeur ended with a grand finale on 4 October 2017 where the jury declared the winners. The winners were overwhelmed to receive their prizes from the humble hands of the Chief Guest Sri Batchu Koteswara Rao.

Basing on the country’s ancient values and the standards of other countries as guiding principles, Training Classes for Theatre Arts have been started with pump and gay by Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuam, which has been progressing for the last 40 years in the service of education without any compromise in quality. Teachers and students numbering above 100 have participated. The importance of Theatre Arts and its use in Education system have been explained vividly. The eminent persons in Theatre Arts Prof. B.Anand Krishnan, Hyderabad Central University, Prof. T. Siva Prasad, Rajasthan University, Prof. Sri Shahjahan Hussain, Jaipur, Sri Riken, Itanagar, will impart training from 16 th May to 30 th May. They explained in their novels about Theatre Arts in a fascinating way. The Chief Guest Prof. S. Anand Krishnan explained that Kandukuri Veeresalingam was the founder of Telugu Theatre Arts, who deserves reckoning in the forefront. In the same way, Bellari Raghav was that much prominent. He said that modernization in Theatre Arts in Andhra Pradesh took place in and around 1880 prior to West Bengal. He also said that Rajamahendravaram stood first in India in respect of modernization in Theatre Arts. He expressed that the onus of maintaining that cultural heredity now lies on these people. He praised the self style writings of ‘Vyavahara Dharma Bodhini’ and the translated version of ‘Chamatkara Ratnavali’ of Veeresalingam Pantulu. He has stated that meaningful life is much more better than luxurious life. He quoted that meaningless life is useless and Theatre Arts help us to lead a meaningful life. Ch. Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary of Sri Prakash Education Society advised the students and the teachers to go ahead by utilizing this rare opportunity. The session which continued with heart-filled joy doubled the inquisitiveness of the learners of Theatre Arts.

A three day workshop on Ethics and Human Values was organised at Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram from 2nd to 5th, June 2016 by Dr.Pradeep Kumar, Registrar IIIT Hyderabad. His observations during this interactive workshop are invaluable.

He emphasized the need for exploring new ways of different dimensions in the individual, in the society, in the family and in any organization as a whole.

Students are still in confused state, though they have vast experience through their 20 years of academic career.

Only trained people have to take up the main responsibility to guide and lead them in the right direction.

Acharyas are those who practice well and show them in action. Teachers are to be the role models for the society. Their efficiency reflects in the society.

Addressing on purity and impurity, he stressed that priority must be given for purity to lead life happily.

The word ‘I’ is nicely associated with our physical pleasures to fulfill our needs, but he stressed the difference between human beings and animals, explaining the evolutionary process of human beings.
