“NRITYA SANDHYA”– A FLAVORED FEAST OF ODISSI DANCE (20.08.2022)

With the objective of taking Synergites on a creative journey to experience the aesthetics of Odissi dance, Sri Prakash Synergy Schools, Kakinada and Peddapuram grandly celebrated   “Nrithya Sandhya” – a cultural extravaganza on Odissi dance on 20 August 2022 at Dantu Kalakshetram in Kakinada. Sri Badam Madhavarao, founder chairman, Abhyudhaya Foundation, Kakinada graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Ms. Sriradha Paul, an Odissi splendor, filled the ambience with an   aura of enthusiasm and dancing spirit.  School Director Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murty and Math Professor S.R. Santhanam glorified the occasion.  A forty-five-day workshop on Odissi dance culminated into a grand finale with Synergites taking the center stage. Ms. Sriradha Paul, a celebrated Odissi dancer from Kolkata   masterminded the whole programme.

The programme, hinged on the rich repertoire of the sculpturesque Odissi splendors across ancient architectural marvels and technical nuances   involved in the highly stylized dance format, was presented on a larger canvas with many hues, moods, and movements. The programme was witness to a plethora of beautifully choreographed dance-drama events that included Angh Suddhi, Mangala Charan, Sthaibattu and Bhoomi Mangalam. The   Magnum Opus of the day was the spectacular performance on Ritus- seasons which, drawing the very conscientiousness of people in general, highlighted the repercussions of climate   change and the erstwhile story of six vanished seasons, in their exquisiteness.  Students, parents, well-wishers, academic and cultural coordinators, teachers, and staff were present on the occasion.
